When we launched in 2014, we decided to also have a Charity of the year which was Cord based in Warwickshire.
Cord’s mission is to be an effective partner for peace in Africa and Asia by working in societies affected by violent conflict and poverty, developing the capacity of partners to build sustainable peace.
It’s about working with communities to dilute conflict and provide tools for future development. It’s about peace and well-being for all.
We want the world to be a better and safer place and by supporting Cord we hoped to contribute towards this aim.
We made various pledges throughout the year and look back fondly on our first year in travel supporting Cord along the way!
